<li>Effectively receive/dispatch commodities including transshipment (truck to truck) against official approved documentation (e.g. waybills and/or delivery notes) ensuring accuracy in physical count of commodities including the quality in compliance with the established standards.</li>
<li>Prepare, verify and sign off warehouse and transport documents, and maintain confidential files and accurate warehouse transaction records to ensure immediate reporting on commodity movements in line with the corporate requirements.</li>
<li>Conduct daily warehouse closing reconciliation and accurate inventory checks supporting internal control systems in compliance with the warehouse management requirements.</li>
<li>Perform daily inspections and prepare reports on the quantity and quality of the commodities received/dispatched and handled, detect promptly and analyse reasons for stock discrepancies/damages, investigate missing quantity and prepare warehouse loss reports recommending appropriate solutions, to enable informed decision-making.</li>
<li>Monitor condition of the warehouse and commodities and take appropriate actions, to support efficient warehouse space-planning and well-organized commodity storage following WFP warehouse standards.</li>
<li>Provide guidance and on-the-job training to warehouse staff to contribute to their development and high performance.</li>

<p><b>QUALIFICATIONS &amp; EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:</b>: <b>Education:</b> Completion of secondary school education <b>OR</b> University degree (Diploma/Bachelor) in Warehouse Management, Inventory Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.</p>
<p><b>Experience:</b> At least <b>four (4) years</b> of relevant work experience with a <b>Secondary School Certificate</b>, or a <b>University degree (Diploma/Bachelor&#8217;s)</b> with a minimum of <b>one (1) or more years</b> of relevant experience in <b>storekeeping, warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, or supply chain management.</b>: <b>Languages:</b> Fluency <b>(level C)</b> in English language and Somali Language.</p>

<p><b>JOB PURPOSE:</b> To perform a range of specialized and process-oriented responsibilities related to security operations, including monitoring and maintaining security equipment, coordinating field movements, and supporting sea operations and warehouse safety procedures, in line with established <b>WFP</b> and <b>UNSMS protocols</b>.</p>
<p><b>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (not all-inclusive, nor exhaustive):</b>:</p>
<ul>
<li>Assist in reviewing local and regional security threats and risks. Compile timely and accurate reports on incidents or developments that could affect WFP staff, assets, or operations.</li>
<li>Review daily security-related information, such as incidents, alerts, and field movements, and utilize local or corporate information tools to provide basic analysis and updates to support informed decision-making.</li>
<li>Liaise with local authorities, port security, law enforcement agencies, and community stakeholders to facilitate secure access for WFP activities and ensure smooth operations at the seaport and warehouse.</li>
<li>Assist in planning, preparing, and tracking staff movements and field missions. Conduct regular local security assessments to support safe access and Programme continuity.</li>
<li>Conduct basic post-mission debriefings and contribute to written assessment reports, including safety recommendations tailored to port, sea, and warehouse environments.</li>
<li>Support the implementation and monitoring of Operational Security Standards and other safety protocols applicable to warehouse and maritime contexts.</li>
<li>Contribute to emergency and contingency planning, ensuring preparedness procedures at the warehouse and office are up to date and well-communicated.</li>
<li>Monitor access control at WFP facilities, including the main warehouse compound, ensuring procedures are followed by staff, port personnel, and visitors.</li>
<li>Assist in the management and maintenance of security-related equipment such as radios, CCTV, fire safety tools, and perimeter lighting. Report issues and suggest improvements when necessary.</li>
<li>Provide support to ensure safe delivery, storage, and movement of food and non-food items in the warehouse and through sea routes, including escort coordination or observation as needed.</li>

<p>ACTED is looking for professionally confident, self-motivated, experienced, and committed team player to fill the <strong>Community Mobilizers</strong> Two <strong>(2)</strong> positions in <strong>Bardere Jubaland</strong>.</p>
<p><strong>Position Profile:</strong></p>
<p>Under the direct supervision of the Project Officer, the Community Mobilizer is primarily responsible for community mobilization and support to community governance activities within a food security and livelihoods project, specifically linked to flood response.</p>
<p>This includes but not limited to supporting the rollout of food assistance through cash transfers to flood-affected households; conducting outreach mobilization; facilitating the set-up of a two-way community alert-based system; ensuring that vulnerable groups and people with specific needs are represented and participating in the project activities; build the capacity of community governance structures, including flood committees; passing information to the camp population, advocating for the needs of the their own community and influencing humanitarian assistance delivery.</p>
<p>The Community Mobilizer will be based in Bardere, where Acted operates with the full project team in coordination with the area-based office in Kismayo.</p>
<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Serves as the community organizer and mobilizer in assigned areas and shall be responsible for facilitating advocacy activities in the communities including detailed planning, implementation, monitoring, and learning of the project-related interventions.</li>
<li>Conduct outreach community mobilization, VRC/CMC and flood response committee meetings in the target locations; lead the outreach community mobilization on flood risk, early response and community resilience among the target flood-affected communities.</li>
<li>Facilitating appropriate community involvement in the design and delivery of food security and livelihood activities (local leaders, local authorities, and local communities), as well as flood preparedness, response and mitigation actions as outlined in the project proposal.</li>
<li>Supporting and promoting the participation of women, youth, and people with specific needs and marginalized groups in FSL and flood-related activities at site or village level</li>
<li>Organize community public meetings and facilitate the formation of project committees (VRC/CMC/Flood Committees) at the community level.</li>
<li>In collaboration with the project team, inform the committee&#8217;s members and the target community at large on beneficiary selection criteria and facilitate the committees to identify project beneficiaries in the targeted communities.</li>
<li>Support the beneficiary selection process, registration, and verifications.</li>
<li>Support the conduction of Post distribution monitoring, market surveys, case studies, and most significant success stories.</li>
<li>Provide the necessary information on the location, date, and cash payment procedures to targeted beneficiaries.</li>
<li>Conduct periodic context and needs assessments related to the livelihood and food security of the target groups in targeted locations as well as flood-related assessments for alert activation.</li>
<li>Support the set-up of a two-way community-based alert system with the flood communities.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain close working relationships with the community leaders and the local authorities in the project area.</li>
<li>Support the assessment of capacity-building needs and the organization of capacity-building sessions with the target community according to the identified needs.</li>
<li>In liaison with the project and MEAL team, ensure that the CRM mechanism integrates different ways of collecting complaints and feedback, not only through desk but also through formal and informal meetings with the community leaders, outreach activities, etc.</li>
<li>Lead transparent and accountable participatory targeting of project target groups and beneficiaries.</li>
<li>Considering gender, protection, and GBV concerns in all aspects of activities.</li>
<li>Promoting and adhering to Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse policy and guidelines (for site residents, Acted staff, partner agencies, casual labors)</li>
<li>Support the Project Officer in the preparation and compilation of internal activity reports on a weekly basis as well as monthly or ad-hoc reports to be shared with the Project Officer</li>
<li>Perform other duties as required by the relevant supervisor.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Job Requirement (Qualification and Experience)</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s Degree in Community Development, Development studies, DRR or any other related fields.</li>
<li>Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in direct implementation of FSL / Emergency projects through close engagement with affected communities</li>
<li>Proficiency in English and local language, both oral and written.</li>
<li>Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.</li>
<li>Experience and knowledge of working with INGOs in Livelihood and Cash transfer, CCCM or Emergency programs.</li>
<li>Prior experience in community engagements and mobilizations, training, coaching and mentoring, proven problem-solving and decision-making skills.</li>
<li>Experience, including leading/supervising subordinate staff, organizing activities, and report writing.</li>
<li>Knowledge and experience working in conflict and climate-affected areas.</li>
<li>Experience in training and capacity building of community members</li>
<li>Knowledge of logistics and procurement processes</li>
<li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and high proactivity.</li>
<li>Good facilitation, analytical, planning, and report-writing skills</li>
<li>Willing to extensively travel throughout the project areas.</li>

<p>Since 2018 DRC, in collaboration with UNHCR and under the leadership of the Protection Cluster, is spearheading a country-wide Protection Monitoring System. DRC is one of the two networks responsible for data collection in Somalia.</p>
<p><strong>Overall purpose of the role:</strong></p>
<p>We are looking for a highly motivated Protection Assistant whose main responsibilities focus on conducting protection monitoring as well as to provide general support to protection activities. The person will be responsible for DRC Protection Monitoring PM) Activities data collection, in line with Protection Information Management principles and methodology, by conducting interviews to collect information about rights violations and protection risks in the framework of the Mix Migration Strategy. The selected candidate will be responsible primarily for quantitative data collection for the PM, including support to the Team Leader and the officers in qualitative inputs, capacity building and awareness raising and protection mainstreaming.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Utilize digital data collection system for data collection and uploading</li>
<li>Participate actively in training when provided – including on PIM, the digital system and other relevant topics</li>
<li>Contribute to testing, data cleaning, and regular debriefing with the Protection Team Leader of digital data collection activities</li>
<li>Ensure the data is collected in line with PIM and protection principles, observing data protection SOPs</li>
<li>Report about emergencies such as evictions, displacement, natural disaster and related protection needs</li>
<li>Participate in protection and multi-sectoral rapid needs assessments</li>
<li>Support coordination of emergency response through sharing information about needs and ongoing interventions.</li>
<li>Accompany and/or carry out the effective delivery of the services/assistance required and make the respective delivery report to the Protection Officer.</li>
<li>Carry out the due legalization of the expenses incurred for the provision of services/assistance required by the PoC.</li>
<li>Maintain permanent communication and coordination with the case management officer, for the prompt, effective and suitable provision of the required services/assistance and in compliance with the technical, programmatic and support requirements existing in the organization.</li>
<li>Provide psychological first aid, safe identification, and referrals to survivors of protection incidents in line with the survivor-centered approach, ensuring commitment to case management principles – in particular the principle of confidentiality.</li>
<li>Handle confidential information correctly, managing protection files accurately, correctly and completely.</li>
<li>Participate in protection and multi-sector awareness sessions</li>
<li>Follow up cases by ascertaining beneficiaries&#8217; satisfaction in receiving services.</li>
<li>Obtain, collect and organise in a suitable way the physical and digital means of verification of the project.</li>
<li>Support protection officers in the coordination and implementation of services/assistance to be provided (IPA) according to the specific protection needs and individual care plans generated for each case.</li>
<li>Conduct other duties as assigned by supervisors</li>
<li>Support other sectors, esp. CCCM activities if requested</li>
</ul>

<p>· To support the Somaliland civilian maritime law enforcement institutions to develop their strategic management capacities;</p>
<p>· To promote effective cooperation between Somaliland maritime resources and security institutions through advice on clear division of maritime institutional roles and responsibilities among ministries, agencies, and other relevant actors;</p>
<p>· To assess the functioning, organisation, strategic management capacity and needs of the Somaliland maritime security institutions, and identify and advise upon sustainable capacity development plans;</p>
<p>· To build strong working relationships with relevant actors in Somaliland and other key stakeholders (including international stakeholders, other EU bodies, UN organisations, countries involved in bilateral activities).</p>

<p>· To provide operational guidance and advice to develop civilian (maritime) law enforcement operational capabilities in line with the Somali National Security Policy (NSP) and other relevant strategies;</p>

<p>· To develops working groups with the maritime law enforcement services training officers to plan implement and improve the training and train the trainer activities;</p>
<p>· To conduct, upon request, reviews of the structures on authorities involved in carrying out the Coast Guard function and assist in developing SOPs;</p>
<p>· To support the selection of future trainees, among the maritime law enforcement services, for advanced training courses;</p>
