What will you do?

Manage and support CP data entry in comet and ensure Data are reconciled every month with LESS and logistic Data records Develop and finalize the Distribution plan quarterly in consultation with the head of the unit section, head of the programme/deputy, and head of the area office and update it every month as required Liaise with IT scope staff in providing technical support to the partners as required Process the FRNs by activity for all in-kind delivery and reconcile STOs with FRNs for clearance before food dispatch Undertake field visits as required and to ensure proper biometric registrations are being conducted; Plan and prepare distribution cycles for the Cash and Voucher (C&V) projects under the Area Office. Support the focal points in distribution cycles for cash and voucher projects under the AO Follow-up with partners on the progress of redemption of the voucher/cash Liaise with Logistics Unit to update the Cash and Voucher (C&V) tracking sheet. Assist in the preparation of the weekly and monthly management reports and monthly consolidation of beneficiaries table for submission to the County Office. Assist in the preparation of periodic outcome and visibility reports for donors. Perform any related tasks as per requirement

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

Completion of secondary school education, preferably supplemented by courses in development economics, monitoring and evaluation, food security or another related field

Experience:

At least Five years of progressively responsible experience related to program functions and working on development, food and humanitarian assistance, and Database management would be an added advantage.

Language: Proficiency in both oral and written communication in English and Somali is a requirement.

Knowledge & Skills:

  •  Experience utilising computers including word processing, spreadsheet, and other software packages. Knowledge of WFP regulations and rules, and WFP policies and procedures in work would be an added advantage.
  •  Fluency in both oral and written communication in Somalia and English is a requirement.
