Position: Branch Manager ( 2 Positions)
Position Type: Full Time
Location: Mogadishu, Somalia
Reports to:  Head Of Corporate, SME and Retail.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  1. Implement strategies to achieve goals assigned to the branch as established in the Bank’s overall strategic plan; assist in the development of the annual budget for the branch and adheres to budget parameters.
  2. Prepares daily and periodical reports of the branch targets, KPIs, and other related main information.
  3. Grow and cross-sell bank products as per targets. 
  4. Manage and supervise branch employees; responsible for day-to-day supervision and leadership.
  5. Supporting Management decisions and goals in a positive, professional manner and demonstrating a willingness to adapt to changing business needs and deadlines.
  6. Act as the principal point of contact for the bank’s relationship with a designated portfolio and target of high net worth customers.
  7. Conduct marketing branch and building the image of the bank within the community, institutions and business people to attract everlasting profitable business.
  8. Grow the customer base, ensure retention of existing customers through a high level of customer satisfaction.
  9. Achieve profitability targets through revenue maximization and prudent cost management.
  10. Ensure proper documentation for all branch processes and adhere to bank policies and procedures.
  11. Grow and monitor branch’s liability and asset portfolios to achieve business targets.
  12. Overall management of the branch through effective & efficient utilization of resources.
  13. Delivery of excellent customer service through maintenance of high service standards.
  14. Ensure compliance to Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework (EWRMF) and KYC//AML/CFT policies and procedures.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • MBA / Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Great leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • At least three years of experience in management, finance, sales or a relevant business role.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at once
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
