Reports to:  Chief Teller     
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Vault Custodianship

  • Assist 2nd vault custodian.
  • Assist Reconcile vault cash daily.
  • Comply with branch cash holding limits.
  • Co-ordinate the cash repatriations / replenishments.
  • Apply for overnight excess cover whenever branch cash limit is exceeded.
  • Assist Custodian of Safe custody.
ATM custodianship

  • Assist Carry out ATM reconciliations. 
  • Asist Load the ATM.
  • Adhere to ATM holding limit.
  • Achieve acceptable ATM uptime.
Cash Management

  • Assist Budget for the daily cash needs.
  • Conduct end of day balancing of teller’s cash.
  • Facilitate Submit monthly return on cash i.e. vault, ATM & teller balances.
  • Assist Carry out reconciliations of Premier Bank
Operational Controls

  • Achieve 100% compliance to bank policies and procedures.
  • Attain acceptable audit, snap check and compliance rating.
  • Zero tolerance to frauds in area of responsibility.
  • Achieve acceptable Branch service uptimes/systems availability.
In charge of teller  and head tellers

  • Confirm cash from tellers and tellers.
  • Transfer FCY & LCY to tellers and Head tellers.
  • Tick back teller transactions.
  • Achieve NIL cash difference.
  • Reduction of branch costs.
  • Achieve acceptable TAT for counter service.
  • Achieve acceptable team productivity index.
  • Achieve acceptable customer satisfaction index.
  • Attain acceptable SLA Standards in area of responsibility.
  • Adhere to stipulated Branch holding limit i.e. vault, ATM and Teller limit.
  • Attain a rating of ‘Satisfactory’ during internal & external audits in area of responsibility.
  • Achieve NIL fraud incidences in area of responsibility.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting & Finance or equivalent
  • At least two years’ experience in cash handling, teller or member service representative position
  • Exhibits working knowledge of branch operations with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in Windows, Microsoft Office
