Under the direct supervision of the Administrative Officer, the incumbent will perform the following duties:

1. Ensure that all small purchases of both goods and services at field level are undertaken in accordance with WHO procurement procedures and guidelines.

2. Ensure all goods(Medical & non-medical) supplies are well stored in a conducive storing condition and manage the transaction/s of goods (in-out) and the well tracking of the records both electronically and printed documents are well maintained for auditing purpose.

3. Supervise the office drivers and ensure pick up of drop off service of WHO staff and non-staff members is provided.

4. Monitor the WHO vehicles movement and the fuel consumption, and ensure that the vehicles repair and maintenance

are done timely, and the vehicles are on functional conditions all the time.

5. Supervise and monitor the work of cleaners and drivers to ensure good performance and cleaning services are provided in a

daily basis.

6. In consultation with the Security Assistant and Head of Office & Administrative Officer ensure the security and safety of the staff and non-staff members, and obtain the necessary clearance when staff and non-staff members are planning for deep field missions prior to their departure in accordance to WHO safety and security guidelines/procedures.

7. Ensure the office facilities are well maintained at functional level all time.

8. Manage the WHO assets in the field office, and maintain a proper up to date assets list with their conditions, and report any loss/damage to the supervisor.

9. Ensure that water and electricity is made available for the field office, and the bills are paid in a monthly basis.

Recruitment Requirements:

Education ( Qualifications)

Essential: Completion of secondary education, supplemented by training in the field of security and/or supply/logistics. Valid driving license.

Desirable: University degree in business administration, logistics management or related field is an asset.

Experience:

Essential: At least Five years of related experience in field of supply/logistics and/or security.

Desirable: Relevant experience in the UN system.

Functional Skills and Knowledge:**

· Very good time management and organizational skills.

· Demonstrated knowledge of banking regulations and local laws.

Knowledge of the organization’s policies and regulations in general, and in particular, regarding project activities and financial procedures is an asset.

Languages: Very good knowledge of English and the local language. French is an asset.
