Estimated Duration of the Contract
The consultancy duration consists of a total of 11 Months starting 9 October 2022 to 8 September 2023. Nutrition Field Monitors are expected to work full time i.e. 21 days per month. Staff already working for government or NGO are expected to be free from any other work commitments. Selected candidates will be requested to submit resignation letter of former employee (CSO, MoH and etc.) to prevent conflict of interest.
Duty Station
Travel Clause:
The Nutrition Field Monitors are expected to have regular travels within Somalia as per programmatic visit schedule and other nutrition program requirements.
Supervision:
The Field Office based Nutrition Field monitors will be supervised by Field Office Nutrition Officers based in Baidoa, Dollow, Mogadishu, Garowe and Hargeisa.

Their conditions of service will be governed by their contract and the General Conditions of Contracts for the Services of Consultants and Individual Contractors. Consultants and individual contractors are responsible for determining their tax liabilities and for the payment of any taxes and/or duties, in accordance with local or other applicable laws.
The selected candidate is solely responsible to ensure that visa (if applicable) and health insurance (including proof of medical evacuation if travel is required] in order to perform the duties of the contract are valid for the entire period of the contract. The candidate may also be subject to inoculation (vaccination) requirements, including against SARS-CoV-2 (Covid).
