General context of the project

The hospital, supported to this day by INTERSOS, remains the only health facility and the Centre of reference for all the primary health centres of the region, covering a basin of over 250,000 people.
Our projects focus on key areas of protection, health and nutrition & WASH. In particular, INTERSOS provides medical and health assistance, nutritional programmes and access to water and adequate sanitation, as well as protection of women and children.
This Wash project in Dinsoor started in August 2019 in the context of a general drought situation that was affecting the entire Somalia.
