The World Food Programme Somalia activities include food assistance for relief, emergency school feeding, nutrition and food assistance for assets creation through provision of in-kind and cash-based transfers.

Under the direct supervision of Food Security Cluster Co-ordinator and overall supervision of the Area Coordinator in WFP Mogadishu Office, the incumbent will be responsible for the following duties:
Education: | Completion of secondary school education. A post-secondary certificate in Geography, Information systems, Social studies any other related functional field is desirable. |
Experience | At least three years of progressively responsible support experience including at least on year in the development/humanitarian sector |
Language: | Fluency in both written and spoken English and Somali is a requirement. |
Knowledge | Experience utilizing computers, including word processing, PowerPoint, MS excel and access spreadsheet and other software packages. Knowledge of WFP policies and procedures in the area of work. |
