  •  Maintain a list of the UNOE inventory that is to be disposed and with PMU identify the disposal process as well as possible handover

to SSF.

  •  Maintain a list of FOB locations and Up-To-Date data base of UNOE/Assets under the FOBs and shared regularly with relevant

parties.

  •  Maintain a data base of assets for disposal and for donation to SSF
  •  A report of identified gaps and recommendations to management as areas of possible improvement.
  •  Regular technical meetings and Performance Review Meetings are conducted with technical units and other partner.
  •  Any other relevant deliverable agreed in the course of consultancy.

Duties andResponsibilities

The Consultant will assist the Transition Cell and Supply Chain Management with review of current UNOE inventory within the warehouse that has to be disposed and can be handed over to SSF as well as the UNOE at the Forward Operating Bases (FOBs) that have been identified by ATMIS to be handed over to SSF. The consultant shall be responsible for the following duties:

  •  Work collaboratively with Property Management Unit to map out the assets at the Warehouse and throughout the sectors
  •  Assist SCM pillar in identifying UNOE assets currently under FOBs.
  •  Identify and recommend possible assets for disposal, donation and retaining by UN.
  •  Support the Transitional Planning Cell in reviewing the FOB handovers and inventory stock to advise relevant stakeholders on

next steps.

  •  Participates in meetings with relevant stakeholders with ATMIS, UNSOS and SSF.
  •  Identify gaps in assets and property management process with particular reference to sectors and FOBs and make

recommendations for management to take informed decisions.

  •  Perform any other related duties as required.

Academic Qualifications: Advanced degree or equivalent preferably in business administration, supply chain or other relevant field.

Experience: A minimum of eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in supply chain management, administration, contracts management or related area. UN experience is required. Experience with SAP/ UMOJA is desirable.

Language: Fluency in English, (both oral and written) is required.
